Certifications for quality and environmental management
COG has once again been awarded certifications for quality management to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and environmental management to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015. COG also convincingly met the requirements for certification of its management system to DIN ISO 45001 : 2023 in respect of the development, manufacture and sale of seals made from elastomers and plastics.

Excellent climate protection with the PRIMAKLIMA seal
Since the beginning of 2020, COG has been working towards more climate-friendly operations and focuses on two key instruments in the area of sustainability: emission reduction and offsetting. The recognized PRIMAKLIMA seal documents the progress achieved through these measures in climate protection, particularly in the following areas:
- Development of a catalog of measures for the consistent reduction of CO2 emissions in all areas (based on the so-called "carbon footprint").
- The remaining share of unavoidable emissions is offset according to the principle of global CO2 balance through the support of certified climate protection projects.
- From 2021, COG will be relying entirely on renewable energies to cover its electricity needs.
